Are special brushes required to sweep and scrub?
No, special brushes are not required for basic sweeping and scrubbing. Each rental scrubber/sweeper comes with standard brushes suitable for general concrete, tile, and smooth floor surfaces. Optional specialty brushes for deep grout cleaning or rough surfaces are available.
Are propane tanks included?
Yes, the rental includes a propane (LP) tank, so the machine is ready to operate at pickup or delivery. Extra tanks are included upon request.
How long does the propane tank last?
Run time varies depending on workload and machine model, but on average a full propane tank will power the machine for approximately 4 to 6 hours of continuous use under normal conditions. For heavier use with higher scrub pressure, expect closer to 4 hours.
How easy is a propane tank to replace?
Propane tanks are easy to replace. The tank is secured with a quick-release bracket, and no tools are required for removal or installation. Most operators can swap tanks in under a minute. An FCE expert will provide a safety demo prior to first use.
How complicated is it to operate an rider floor scrubber/sweeper?
The machines are designed to be user-friendly and easy to operate. Controls are simple and clearly labeled. Front wheel drive makes steering easy. Most first-time users are comfortable operating the unit after a short 5-to-10-minute demonstration, which is provided by an FCE expert upon delivery.
